REACH : les éléments fondamentaux du dispositif

Abstract : REACH: the basic elements of the regulation European REACH regulation entered into force in 2007 aims to ensure a better protection from chemicals to human health and environment. To sum up, the regulation should: 1) protect human health and environment from chemical and in particular very high concern substances (cancerogen, mutagen, toxic for the reproduction, persistant, bioaccurnaltive substances); 2) assure a complete hazard and risk assessments and a good risk management of chemicals; 3) limit testing on animals and promote the alternative methods to animal experimentation. REACH is built on four processes: registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction
