Management of undergroung issues in France using probabilistic methods

As many other European countries, France has now to manage the "post-mining" phase, rather than mining activity as such. This paper focuses on presenting some post-mining issues and on discussing several improvements and benefits that probabilistic methods may bring to the management of problems related to a past mining activity.
