Utilisation des classifications de massifs rocheux pour l'analyse du comportement de pentes. Présentation de deux cas d'application

Abstract : Quantitative methods of analysis of rock slopes require evaluating the properties of the rock mass at the scale of the slope. Two example of use of rock mass classifications are presented. In the first case, Hoek and Brown criteria for a rock mass is applied and equivalent cohesion and friction angle are deduced. In the second case, the estimation of RMR and the use of empirical relationships based on RMR, lead to estimate the properties of the rock mass. Stability analysis, in the first case, and stress-strain computation, in the second case, were undertaken with the equivalent characteristics.
