Essai dynamique de rupture en flexion de matériaux quasi-fragiles obtenue à l'aide d'un dispositif de barres de Hopkinson

Abstract : The fracture of quasi-brittle materials under dynamic loading is a difficult phenomenon to analyse. This fracture appears for very low deformations while dissipating weak energy, in opposition to that of ductile materials. The SHPB device is used for the dynamic bending fracture of concrete beams. The assumptions used to analyse the tests for ductile materials are not applicable any more. An adapted analysis of the recorded signals is developed. It makes possible to carry out a very accurate temporal check of signals and takes into account the transitional dynamic aspect of the motions during the test. Using analytical formulations, a transitional dynamic analysis of the system composed of the bars and of the specimen leads to original results.
