Jets impactants à masse volumique variable

Abstract : This experimental study is aimed at identifying and quantifying the main parameters acting on a gaseous leakage in presence of obstacles in its development. Some density measurements are performed in the mixing region of an helium jet with the ambient air by the BOS method (Background Oriented Schlieren) when the jet is impacting a sphere placed in the near field.
