D. Christophe, he joined INERIS, a French National Institute in charge of Evaluation and Mitigation of Risks generated by industrial activity. He is presently Deputy Head of Ground & Underground Division and an expert on rock structure stability. His expertise mainly deals with mining and natural hazards. Due to the progressive closure of the French mining activity, he specialised in Mine Closure and Post Mining Management, He also ensures the presidency of the International Commission on Mine Closure within the ISRM, 1993.
