Dimensionnement d’une galerie souterraine d’essais soumise à des explosions et des incendies, à Montlaville (Oise, France)

Abstract : In order to assess the resistance of some industrials devices (gas cylinders, tanks, etc) subject to mechanical or thermal solicitations, specific tests must be carried out inside special areas, such as the test galleries situated at Montlaville in the Oise county. During their renovation, the galleries were designed to resist to a 300 kg metallic impact, of a 30 MJ energy and a 3 MW fire during half an hour. These conditions required a specific design (see Figure 0) composed of special concrete and a stainless refractory steel layer. Due to the specificities of this site, the AFTES recommendations have not been used. So we expose here the methodology of the design of the test area.
