ATEX et installations industrielles : éléments de retour d’expérience issus d’une vingtaine d’années d’enquêtes après accidents

Abstract : The use of flammable substances (e.g. powders, liquids, gases or vapours) in industrial equipment may generate explosive atmosphere (ATEX) hazards. Regulation which is imperative upon industries aims at improving protection of workers considering operational health and safety issues. Typical and recurring accidents and incidents are symptomatic of constraints and obstacles that industrial plant operators are facing. This paper aims at sharing experience on these difficulties based on our 20 years of ATEX’ accidents investigation
