Modélisation analytique des phénomènes d'interaction sol-structure

Abstract : This paper aims to develop an analytical model which can predict the building-relevant deflections induced by a subsidence by taking into account the relative stiffness between the ground and the building (soil-structure interaction). A specific objective is to study the influence of shear deformations in the ground over the final building deflection. The soil is then alternatively modeled with the Winkler one-parameter model or the Pasternak two parameters model and the building is alternatively modeled with a Euler-Bernoulli beam with uniform load and lying upon an initial ground curvature equivalent to the free field ground movements. The static and cinematic equilibrium of both the ground and the building are then calculated to assess the final building and ground shape, and the building deflection is then calculated. Results show a significant influence of the shear deformation. A section is dedicated to the determination of the parameters values of the soil model in relation to the elastic mechanical properties of the ground.
